For the first Music Monday post of 2013, I’m going back to my first Farm Aid concert in 2008. I’ll never forget the sights and sounds of my first show where I was a worker and not just another concertgoer. I remember being backstage in a trailer hurriedly posting updates on our blog and uploading photos and videos from the show while trying to keep my wits about me as the music boomed and the crowd roared from the front of the stage. I was able to sneak out towards the end of the night to enjoy a little music, but now that I can actually watch the performances, I know why the crowd was so into the show for over ten hours.
So, without further ado, here is John Mellencamp’s performance from Farm Aid 2008 in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
