Traffic Advisory for Farm Aid 30 Festival Attendees
CHICAGO — Farm Aid 30 festivalgoers are advised to be aware of road closures and evolving traffic patterns that may affect their travel plans to FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Festivalgoers should check www.cityofchicago.org for the most up-to-date listing of all road closures. Carpooling and public transportation is recommended when possible.
The gates for Farm Aid 30 will open at 12:00 p.m. and the festival is expected to run from 12:50 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Attendees are advised to factor in additional travel time to and from the venue due to road closures surrounding the 2015 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final and World Championships.
Farm Aid 30 parking is available at the North Garage parking lot at Soldier Field and the cost is included in the ticket price. Lot gates will open at 11:00 a.m. For more transportation details, visit www.farmaid.org/concert/venue-information.
VIP Parking is available at the cost of $49 per car and can be purchased on site. This allows parking right outside the venue gates. Message boards on Museum Campus Drive will direct attendees to the VIP Parking lot if spaces are still available. VIP lots will open at 11:00 a.m.

Farm Aid’s mission is to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America. Farm Aid artists and board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews host an annual concert to raise funds to support Farm Aid’s work with family farmers and to inspire people to choose family farm food. For 30 years, Farm Aid, with the support of the artists who contribute their performances each year, has raised $48 million to support programs that help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture and promote food from family farms.
