Our 1-800-FARM-AID hotline and Farmer Resource Network provides immediate and effective support services to farm families in crisis. We help farmers find the resources they need to access new markets, transition to more sustainable and profitable farming practices, and survive natural disasters. Through our Farm Advocate Link and Homeplace Under Fire documentary film, we're working to train, support and recruit a new generation of Farm Advocates in service to America’s family farmers.

Each year, proceeds from Farm Aid’s annual concert and our generous community of donors are granted to nonprofit organizations working to strengthen family farm agriculture in the United States. Since our first concert in 1985, we’ve granted more than $25 million to over 300 organizations nationwide. Farm Aid’s grantees are critical on-the-ground partners in the movement to keep family farmers on the land, producing good food for all.

Farm Aid fosters connections between farmers and eaters by growing and strengthening local and regional markets and working to get family farm food in urban neighborhoods, grocery stores, restaurants, schools and other public institutions.

Farm Aid works with local, regional and national organizations to promote fair farm policies and grassroots organizing campaigns designed to defend and bolster family farm-centered agriculture. We’ve worked side-by-side with farmers to protest factory farms and inform farmers and eaters about issues like genetically modified food and growth hormones. Farm Aid works to shine a spotlight on our family farmers using innovation and hard work to grow good food for all of us. From our annual music and food festival that features family farm food and unites farmers, artists, and concerned citizens, to our inspiring and informative video and web campaigns, we are building a powerful movement that celebrates family farmers.
